Shoutout to the roomies

This blog post is dedicated to my wonderful x-roomies. Their names are *(these are in no particular order, but if they were, Linds-bear would be last):

Kyley Hailes, Lindsey Coles (Linds bear), Tayler Stratton, Kelcie Hansen, Stephanie Horton, Jamie Hill, & Nakell Stout.

These girls have been the most fun thing about the past year and a half of my life. Tayler and I moved into our apartment not knowing our future roomies, but luckily we hit it off like we were friends for years. We were lucky for sure.

Sooooo its real sad that I left them and moved back to Sin City, but I just wanted to let them know how much I loved them... soooooo here it goes:

Ky: I love ya. plain and simple. even though you like rice and pudding or whatever. You make me laugh, you're pretty, and sometimes nice to me & just as equally sarcastic which I love. :) hahaha

*I swear I'm not mean, just sarcastic. you guys know, but if anyone else reads this they'll probably think I'm a beast!!

Linds Bearrrr: First of all, it makes me sad no body will call you Linds bear once I'm gone.... but the nickname will forever stay. I'm glad we got to be roomies because 1. we're alike in our sarcastic ways and it makes me laugh all the time, and 2. because I love you SOOOO much. You're such a hard worker. You get the hardest worker roommate award. You were always gone, or having late nights because you're so dang good at your job. I'm proud of you and I miss you even tho I just left this weekend.

Kelcie Hansen: giiiirl. you make the bombest dinners. you domestic lil wifey. I'm happy you got married to your best friend and yall live happily ever after. I miss you a lot, Thanks for not killing us when we stole stanley and wouldn't give him back for ages. tell him hello for meee.

T/strat: You's gettin wifed up pretty soon here! I can't believe I watched your and Mitch's love grow right before my eyes. You've changed into such a beautiful woman about to be a married girl & I could not be any happier for you guys. Thanks for coming to UVU with me, and for all the late night hot springs parties, early morning-all day snowboard trips, milkshake runs to walkers when they had the cool milkshake makers, dinosaur fights, and all the nights that ended up in laughter. I'll miss them for sure.

stephanie horton: most random roomie award goes to you. I love that you moved in for a good month and peaced out. I understand tho. Can't wait for u and gav to get married! So excited for yall. I'm glad you call me Barbara Jean. You make me laugh, no matter what. Whenever I'm around you you just have this glow that is addicting( and its not just cuz you're engaged yo). I love you sooo much. now move to cali so I can come bug you & gavin..........

jamie hill: Jamieeeee! I just love you, you are awesome because we share this love for food, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter eggs, ice cream, coldstone, and most importantly, taco bell and quiznos. haha you are just wonderful because you always hung out with me and laughed with me and sent me fun pix of kitties and doggies. haha love you for that.

nakell bieber: Saved the best for last! duhhh! nakelllllly. my nakell, you are aaaamazing. living with you has just been soooo much fun. I love you so much you're hilarious, freakin cute, and just a dollllll. You inspire me to get a nose piercing, love justin bieber, and laugh a lot. I'm glad you moved up there with us, cause we sure had fun going to movies every weekend ;) hahaha but for real, we always had a blast, no matter what we did. Love you tons & tons.

Birthdays, Graduation, and changes!!

I have so so so much to talk about! This weekend flew by and was way fun! My fam came up from Vegas to go to Jackie's graduation on friday, so they were here all weekend. Also, it is cody's 11th birthday today (sunday)! So we celebrated saturday with the whole fam, and then drove back to vegas on sunday! oh & osama bin laden died on cody's birthday!

We had a nothing bundt cake. It was delicioussss! Totally worth the $32.00.

Me and Cody had a little hot tub session on sunday after we drove home, just chilled, and then our mom brought us out some pizza. Then we had cake of course. She's the sweetest thing ever.

Cody and his birthday present, a iPod. I'll never forget, he opened it and said, "oh I love it!!! it's so awesome... is there any more presents or is this just it?" haha little does he know our dad is getting him a 4 wheeler which is the coolest thing ever. I'm excited because I get to help pick it out!

This is Ethan. My nephew. He's a "future missionary" if you haven't noticed. He is adorable and awesome and cute and wonderful. Can't stand being away from him for 2 seconds.

Our super cool brother in law andrew playin a game with Cody. Ps. this place doesn't use tokens for machines, they have this machine that gives you a credit card lookin thing and you put money on it and swipe it at every game you want to play. Made me feel old, because they're not using tokens anymore. Crazy.

This is my fully loaded car ready to move to Vegas! Utah family if you're reading this (ashlee, allie, sammy, reaggy, holls, I think I got you all :) ) I will miss living so close to you guys and coming up for sunday dinners, and crashing your houses, stealing food and playing with your kids. We'll of course be up to visit but its just sad I'm not an hour and a half away anymore. Love you guys tons and tons tho!!

I have had such a lovely time in utah, meeting friends, hanging out with family up there more and just growing. It's been an adventure for sure, but now vegas is my new adventure and I'm reeeeallly excited about it. So I love you all.... xoxo.

Hello Loveys

I shouuuuuld be writing my essay thats due tomorrow that consists of 8-10 pages, but I just am going to procrastinate some more.

Life rocks. Did you all know that? This is my SUUUPER cute friend named Courtney Anne Brown. Tayler, Court and I took a philosophy class together last semester and instantly became friends, and then she went to BYU-Hawaii for a semester, and just came back. I just love this girl. That's actually an understatement.. anyways some people think we're twins, I wish we were.. heck I wish we were sisters. Please ignore the fact that she's abnormally tan, she just came back from Hawaii, and I've been here, so just remember that people... Anyways, we had a cute little date night and we went to the Open House of Maddux Boutique, and then we went to Guru's. She rocks. you should all be friends with Court.

Guys, literally there is 13 days until I move back to vegas. How scary. 13 days to do finals/projects/essays/tests/pack/pass cleaning checks(which is quite hard) & fit all my crap into my car and say my goodbyes to my utah fwiends! Thats A LOT!!! Shoot. Hope it all goes well....

Conference 2011

What's up friends?!

So this weekend was conference. I haven't ever gone, never got the chance and all that jazz..... buuuuut this year I went to the 2nd session on sunday and it rocked. I went with Brett Harber, Justin Hales and Samantha. REAL cool friends. Heres a pic I took of the conference center. I know everyone's seen it, but I took this pic. It's funny cause I was sitting there, just watching Prez. Monson talk and I realized, President Monson is in the same room I'm in. how. cool. is. that???? So thank you Brett Harber for taking me to my very first conference!!!! (even though he'll never see this) haha.







27 days till I move back to vegas.....just incase you were wondering. Scared. Excited. mixed emotions. buuuuut it's a good thing.

me and tayler went on a picnic when it was good weather out, we put on our summer dresses and got a blanket, stopped through kneaders drive thru and had a good ol picnic. I think we're celebrating a little too early, but hey it was a nice day.

Hello all 17 followers. I love you all. I have nothing to blog about, except for things that I'm excited about.

1. My family coming in town tomorrow. Cody has a sore throat, and he stayed home from school today (thursday), but he assured my Mom that he'll be well enough to still go to utah tomorrow (friday). hah how cute is that?

2. We, my mom, little brother & friends are going to HARE KRISHNA! I'm STOKED. It's the coolest/funnest/craziest time in the year and its a once in a lifetime thing to experience.

3. I'll see my wittle niece and nephew this weekend. & my sister aubree and her super rad hubby andrew. I love my fam.

4. One month till I move back to Vegas. I'll be sad to move away from family, but we come up so much I'm not too worried. I'll see em.

5. I'm single. feelin good. feel limitless, I saw that movie---so good! after I saw it I wanted to conquer the world.

6. I wish I could make cakes like Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes.

7. I have this secret dream to open a sweets store with my mom in Vegas! Maybe its not secret, but its a dream of mine. :)

8. Life rocks. so do my friends!

Heber/Family vakay!!

I forgot, I totally have something to blog about! My fam took a vacation to Heber for prez day weekend. it was a freaking blast!!!




So this cabin is my dad's friends, we just kind of borrowed it for the weekend, it was equipped with pool tables, ping pong tables, air hockey, foozball, like 9 rooms, and like 12 snowmobiles. Those things are sccccurrrry. I kind of imagined them like jet skis, I'm so wrong, those things get stuck, they're the hardest to turn, and gosh they're just too intense for me. I'll stick to my jetskiing.

My cousins are seriously my sisters, and my guy cousin adam, is like my brother. We're all so close. I just love them, so freaking much!!! They're so fun. I loved this weekend. I wish it didn't end. :(

Presidents day was good to me. They are the only things I'll miss about utah, just being closer to my family... <3 much love guys if you're reading, esp ashlee and hollie and allie and sammy and reggy :) I'm comin to see y'all soon!!!

YOOO

I haven't blogged in forever. I guess I haven't had much to blog about. I wish I had some pix. I broke my super cool unbreakable, waterproof, christyproof camera. Somehow I broke it. fml. I know. so I'm pictureless. I'm at work. Lots of changes are going to happen. I cant wait to move back to vegas in april.

Sometimes I do that, look forward to things so much that I forget to enjoy the moment and the things I'm doing now. It's annoying, don't do it.

This last weekend was a blast. Carly (mitch's sister) and Randi Dunn came and stayed with us before they moved to San Diego. It's always a party when they're here. They are hilarious. So we went to LaJolla Groves, and Happy Sumo, lots of movies, and even made a hilarious/embarassing movie. It happens.

Then Saturday my Mom came to town with Tayler's mom, Jackie and Brandon were moving so she came to help, and Tayler's Mom came to look at wedding dresses for Tayler. So I had a sleepover with my mommy, and we went to Olive Garden where we laughed and had a good time, then we went to the Cocoa Bean and bought 6 cupcakes for just us. It happens. The bestest one is their german chocolate cupcake. It's a beautiful masterpiece! I recommend it!

There's nothing like my Mom, she's the best mom ever. Even saying that, it's not enough. She's kind, honest, loving, understanding, funny, scared of spiders, easy to scare, beautiful and just overall wonderful!!!! She's the kindest person I know, seriously, I wish I got that gene from her, but I didn't. haha.

This weekend is spring break. I have no plans. That's how cool I am. I'm honestly looking forward to just relaxing. I'll probably go to my sister Aubree's house, and hang out with my super cool brother-in-law and niece and nephew. :)
