Thanks. Gracias. DAY!

Thanksgiving day was wonderful. Each year, my family has a gigantic thanksgiving at a church up in Ogden. Usually 70-150 people come, we don't go every year, probably something like every other year, but when we go, we have a blast. I think this is the 87th year we have done it, or something like that.
My little brother. Handome. Mature (most the time). & can kick my BUTT.

Our thanksgiving is held at a church in Ogden, UT, that area. We ate all the turkey, ham, and stuffing we could handle then we played Minute to WIN IT games.
How fun right? It was TONS of fun.

This is my second cousin Allie. She calls me her aunt though. I like to think of her mom and the rest of my cousins as my sisters. So this is my neice. She's amazing. Wonderful inside and out.
Beautiful, caring, & funny as heck.

Sammie and Allie. Sisters. They are wonderful girls.

Close up of Cody. I love this picture. Gorgeous blue eyes.. sweet smile.. Seriously he has grown so much!! He's almost as tall as me and he is 10 years old!! I couldn't get over how much he had grown when my family came this weekend.
I LOVE my brother.
I'm kind of asian in this picture but its okay. I love this sweater on Cody too. Code is obsessed with it. He wore it for about 3 days in a row. I said, "Cody you have worn that for about 3 days straight.. you have to change!" His reply: "it's a sweater... so I can wear it over my shirts as much a I want. "

He's right. That little weasel.. It looks so good on him though.. I love skinny jeans on kids. He has some and they are SO CUTEE on him!!

EASY & delicious Eclairs Recipe!!!

A few weekends ago, my cousin Ashee and I made these delicious eclairs. She got the recipe from someone who used to work at this bakery in Ogden, where the best eclairs I've ever had come from. So here's the recipe for these guys:

Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup flour, 4 eggs, 1 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling: 2 packages of jello powder pudding (cheesecake filling--soo goood and I don't even like cheesecake that much!!) and 3&1/2 cups of milk.
Frosting: cocoa butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar.

Directions:
1. preheat overn to 400 degrees and grease a cookie sheet
2. In a medium saucepan combine 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring until butter melts completely. Reduce heat to low, and add flour and salt. Stir vigorously until mixture leaves the sides of the pan and begins to form a stiff ball. Remove from heat. Add eggs, one at a time beating well to incorporate completely after each edition. With a spoon, or a pastery bag, put them on the cookie sheet. Bite sizes.
3. Bae 15-18 minutes.
4. Filling mix, like package for a pie filling, use a pastery bag or a zip lock bag with a tiny peice cut off in a corner.
5. Microwave frosting for only 10 seconds and dip the top of the eclairs and refridgerate.

****TIPS*****
- we used a ZipLock bag instead of a pastery bag, and made sure the eclair had enough room for the filling inside of the thing so I used my pinky finger to make sure they baked properly.
- ALSO, I did not dip the top of the eclairs in the frosting, I put the frosting in a bag and zig zagged it all over the pastery. Do what you'd like, but they were simple and amazingly delicious!!!

ENJOY :)

Round 2

Yep, I'm blogging AGAIN. I go a week or two without blogging and then I'm back at it on Sundays. This one's about halloween that was forever ago. I know. I'm late. I like how blogs are kind of like a journal. only public. which is fine. I like it.

Here it goes.

I like pictures. so here are some:

halloween weekend my brother cody had a soccer game which he won 5-0. He's a star. I love that kid. Way proud of him.
Sure he's 10, I'm 19. 9 year difference but we're super close. I love him, I love his sense of humor, and having nerf gun wars. He just got a cell phone last week and I love that I can get a text from him or a phone call. He doesn't know how he brightens up my days.

This is my vegas crew. My halloween party. Mixed variety of costumes, from a flapper to a hippie and then Snooki and Pauly D. Even Alice in Wonderland was there. LOVE these guys.
Maaa girls. They're cute.
Let me just tell you there were a million kids. Imagine all these kids coming to your house at once.
These twins are the cutest little girls ever. They're like my family. They are Cody's best friend- Oliver's little sisters: Grace and Amelia. They are the best. I've known them since they were little babies.
They're obviously growing up. Can't believe it.
My Mom's the cutest. love her.
MILLY!
I took these little troublemakers trick or treating. Just me. It was horrid.
Let me tell you a funny story, as we are walking, these people
were walking past us with their children and these guys scream, "oh DUDE, sweet they're
terrorists!!!" THEY were NOT terrorists. hahah that was how they usually dressed.
This couple looked at me and I just apologized and ran away fast. I laughed a little inside though.

10 year olds are hilarious. All they talk about are girls and how cute some of them are, and they say DUDE every 10 seconds I kid you not.

Gracie
My hoodlum crew.
Star.
I captured my Dad's easygoing personality in this picture I feel.
This is his typical and favorite outfit. Two denims together. No matter
how many times me and my Mom say "YOU CAN'T WEAR TWO DENIMS TOGETHER"
This stubborn man just ignores us and says, "I'm comfortable!!" He cracks me up.
I really like this outfit truthfully, cause it's SO him. He rocks it.

This picture makes me laugh. I love it.
My Best Friend, Cody. He's cool.

This one's for you Ashlee

So my cousin Ashlee informed me that all my posts are about weird things like shoes. She said she wants me to blog on things going on in my life. The sad thing is there isn't much to tell. its fine. By the end of the week I just want to be around family. Its the best feeling ever, but lately its been about every weekend that I want to escape provo and migrate up to West Jordan or Syracuse or Ogden to see my family. Maybe its the holidays coming up, I don't know what it is, but I like it.

November 6th that weekend my cute cousin benson was baptized. My sister Aubree and I went to the baptism. He is probably the cutest thing ever. I love him. He's super strong too. Can't believe he's already 8.

Then, November 13th, the next weekend, I drove myself up to my family for the weekend. I spent friday night at my sister Aubree's house and then I went to Syracuse to visit my cousin Ashlee. My cousins are basically my sisters. We've always been close. I love that. Its nice.

My family probably doesn't realize how they save me when I come up and they welcome me with open arms. For example: I went to Ashlee's saturday, she was at a baptism until 5ish and I got there around 4 so I walked into her house, made myself some hot chocolate, plopped onto the couch and turned on some Harry Potter. Seriously how nice is that? The neighbors probably thought I was a creeper or something but my family is the best in the whole entire world. They Save Me.

Me and my cousin Ashlee made these AMAZING cookies, they were seriously the easiest cookies I have ever made. I'll have to get the recipe but there were literally about 5 ingredients for these delicious chocolatey chipped cookies!!
K THIS IS AMAZING ^ Ashlee and I are SO PROUD of these eclairs!!! Seriously they are to die for!!! they're SO good. I'll post the recipe on another post so that you all can have it. They turned out GREAT. seriously. Everybody loved em!
Cutest niece ever? I'd say so. Baylee Aubree Blau. Love her.
YA YA YA!
Okay, this picture wasn't my idea. My talented, beautiful, and wonderful cousin Hollie makes THE CUTEST bows, headbands, etc. She gave me this one, she's the sweetest. Seriously they are the cutest things ever. My cousin Emily made me pose and be a model for a second. Cute hoodie with my modeling picture right? I know. I know.

The point is, I have a talented, wonderful, supporting, beautiful family. I don't know how I got so lucky. I love my cousins, my second cousins who don't know if I'm their Aunt or what because I'm always around. I love love love my family. They are the beestest.
