shoes. SHOOZ. shuez.

I'm obsessed with shoes. boots. sneekers. flats. flip flops. stilettos. heels. over the knee boots. any shoes. I love love love them. I have a fascination with the design of them and the fact I can immediately fall in love with them or I can immediately hate them. Here are some ones I like:

Half the shoes I like immediately are either 1.) too tall for me. Since I'm 5'9 I gotta watch my height. I can't score a basketball playa so I gotta stay close to the flats section or 2" shoes. But it doesn't hurt to dream. or 2.) Too expensive. Some shoes are just too expensive like the ones above. But sometimes ya just get a good deal at Nordstrom Rack and life seems that much better.. That's how it goes for me anyhow, I still love expensive shoes, at least I can ponder at them. I've settled with flat boots. And I'm diggin this new style of the tie up, old school lookin' boot. i'm not lovin the wedge shoe, or clog. Whatever you want to call it, it's in the past and it should stay there. I can't rock it anyway... I'm sure there's someone out there that can make the clog look good but until then my opinion stands.

4th of July and camping

This is how my 4th of July was spent, riding the ranger around the block,

holding hands with this sweet guy all day,

eating watermelon, while making cupcakes and cookies and pies

for our neighborhood party that night.

My 4th of July was a good one.

I have the cutest nephew ever. We went camping

for a few days and laughed lots and lots.

I'm such a good fisherman! I caught two of those six!!

While I escaped Provo and ran to Vegas for 2 weeks I had

lunch with this girl ^ Sandra. She is one of my best friends.

You know that friend, when you guys get together it's like

you were never apart? Like the distance and time that has

passed doesn't even matter and the time you guys hang out

all you do is laugh and have the best time? Thats what this

girl is like to me. We always will be friends, no matter the

distance between us.

Sun shining down, the pool cooling down your skin, everyone's laughing. How can swimming on a beautiful summer day not be perfect? We even busted out the underwater camera...
Moapa has the best illegal fireworks. Saying I'm excited for the 4th of July would be an understatement. Every time I walk into the living room, I see this huge box and two lighters sitting next to them and my mind just goes bonkers. I start thinking about the parade saturday, how we'll be lighting these puppies off in 4 days. I can't wait. One thing I love about utah is that it celebrates the 4th twice. What I mean is the 24th, pioneer day. It's just like the 4th. Fireworks. BBQ'S. Parades. Fun.
