Cali trip!

So honestly this summer I've just been working. I haven't been on a ton of vacations or anything so when I had 3 days off in a row and it happened to be my dads 66th birthday we decided to head down to our favorite place, Huntington Beach California. I am obsessed with the Hyatt here. I'm not kidding. This place is my favorite. It's right across from the beach and they even have chairs towels and umbrellas you take over to the beach and drop th off when you're done and then you go to the pool and hot tub. It's my favvvvorite. AND I forgot to mention the best part. They have this comp'd breakfast, now I'm not talkin about the best western here's a piece of toast and some strawberry jam packet for free. I'm talkin about a buffet filled with delicious food, fruit, smoothies, this awesome lady making the best omelets of my entire life. I can't even describe this amazingness. I was putting whipped cream on my waffles when this little boy walked in and stopped talking and looked around the buffet and sang "hallelujah" hahaha just started singing it like a little angel. It's funny because I felt like doing the same thing.
So after my family dragged me away from my favorite hotel, we went to an angels fams!!! Now I've never been to a Major League Baseball game but let me tell you that won't be my last one. I've been having the best luck lately too btw. I know it seems random but it all connects I swear. The other day I found 5 bucks walking to my car off of work and I was stoked. Then at the angels game we were driving to the stadium, stuck in traffic and this guy walking by gave us this blue premium pass for parking So we got our parking for free and got really close. So thank you friendly stranger for the awese parking pass. This game though was awesome! We all got free surfing monkey animals when we walked in, and had the best seats. Right on the first base line so that we almost could catch pop flys! I love baseball. It was awesome. Oh fun fact--*** I'm always right. After the game we all had different ideas to where the car was parked. Also the keys were inside the car so we couldn't set off the alarm or anything to find it. So we all went off in our separate ways, and I found the car bahaha and now my dads never hearing the end of it. Fun fact #2 my dad turned 66 and this trip had so many 66's in it! I find myself actually always seeing the numbers 66 places, kinda a lucky number for m despite how everyone feels about 6's but our room number was 3366, I went shopping and at a store my total was $66 and I told my dad at every store ill only spend $66... He didn't like that so much. Jk :)
Anyways we had an amazing trip. I love Hyatt at Huntington, I defrffffdinitely recommend it to everyone and their mom oh and you can bring your pets there for $50 more a night! Super tad (I know it's random I just remembered tho!) anyway awesome trip for a little summer vakay!!

family time

So jackie came in town this weekend and unfortunately I was working all weekend but I got off early one day and we had a small swim day before a giant thunderstorm and it was hilarious. My family is awesome. Cody has the funniest little personality ever. Here are some pictures that do more justice than I could possibly even explain. Just be happy I didn't put up the hilarious videos cody was taking... oh, also... if it looks like I'm beating up my little brother, I am. He is the strongest kid ever I swear, and treats me like a older brother named Chris. I miss the days where I was the strongest.

You know what they say... when you're busy... blog. I swear I have a list of things to do thats bigger than me but I'll deal with it in a little. I have to take an accounting exam tomorrow and I have accounting homework due tonight. If anyone wants to do it, let me know. I'll pay you millions. Thanks. 

So here's what I've been up to......

- we went to oregon to visit gramma and cousins and I met my cousin Laura's baby, Ryker. He's the cutest little guy ever. 

-I turned 22. I feel so OLD. I can't. I had a cabana at Monte Carlo's pool with old friends & new friends from work and we had a blast. They made me a cake and everything. Anyone that knows me knows that cake and swimming are two of my favorite things, and them combined is just heavenly. I'm grateful for my new work friends. I love them a lot.

- I still go to Stoney's every thursday... that hasn't changed, my dance skills have just gotten more awesome. Just kidding. Although, my 2-step has improved I believe. (brag moment)

- Cody turned 13. Not sure if I blogged about that. My little baby is grown up. He's almost as tall as me. NOT OK. 

This past wknd we went to utah to go to my cousin Adam's wedding. 

I can't believe he's married! So stoked for him and Candis. She's sweet and he's awesome together they will have an amazing life. Their wedding was so cute and their cake was delicious!! I think a cake says a lot about your wedding & what kind of life you'll have together :) 

 I saw my sweet sister Jackie. She's awesome, pretty much a model or something I swear ... she got all the brains and beauty.. help a sista out jackie! Seriously though, go to littlejstyle.com and she's got this cute website with all her gorgeous and fashionista outfits on that inspire me daily.

 I love my family to pieces. I wish we all lived in the same city. Utah's really green, and pretty and perfect weather. I'm so used to it being 90-105 I was freezing at Utah's perfect 85 degree weather. Insane what Vegas has done to me! Nonetheless it was beautiful up there!

 We may or may not have tried to be models.... and lean on the fence. haha 

 My cute little cousin's kids that luckily still call me their aunt even though I haven't seen them in FOREVER due to work and school! I love these kids to death!!

Lastly here's some pictures with the cousins. This is Haley, an incredibly talented interior designer and a babe of a mother of  3 beautiful kids that live in Kansas so I haven't seen them in forever! And on the end is Mary, she's a sweet little school teacher in utah somewhere ( I forgot where she teaches) but she's awesome and loves to travel, so hopefully one day we can go travel together! What's funny is the above picture of me with the little kids used to be us in this picture. We used to be the cute little kids, and now we're all grown up, well I'm still growing up. But most of the cousins are married, graduated, busy with their lives it's just insane. Never thought I'd see the day!  I'm blessed with the most awesome family. ever. Ok. I guess I'll go to the gym now or eat pretzels & nutella since I have lots to do....... wish me luck on my accounting exam -__-

Hiking & Shenanigans

I should be studying... but I needed a break.... so I decided to blog. So lots has happened since last blog! It's all the sudden march, I'm still in school..... just getting through it...

So Adam came to town with his cuuuute tiny gf Candis (Candice) not Cand-i's..... They came with another couple annnd we all went hiking annnnd I was the 5th wheel but actually it was really fun. We went out to hoover dam and were pretend tourists and took pictures and everything out there... Then we had a hard time finding he Gold Strike trail.. but we found it and we thought it was only like 2 miles, turns out it was about 3-4 miles... and for me thats a lot. It was a blast though! Fun fact, adam was going to propose to Candis... didn't exactly know when so I didn't know if he was ever going to drop down on his knee and propose to her or what. Sorry adam if you didn't want that shared on the world wide web. He later proposed to her when they drove back to utah and I asked how he did it and I got a text back saying, "I kneeled in the mud and snow and asked her." classic guy answer if you ask me.. Candis welcome to the family!!

This babygirl is my friend LP's daughter. She's a doll, absolutely adorable. I die. 

I got a new summer job so I won't be seeing my bff LP or his precious daughter Amaya anymore! Sad story. Everything is good though.. school work family alls well. <3 nbsp="" p="">
